Pat East hired as executive director of Dimension Mill collaborative work space
Offering both a job and a parking lot, the city made strides Tuesday evening in filling the empty spaces within the Trades District.
The Bloomington Redevelopment Commission approved a contract hiring Pat East, CEO of Hanapin Marketing, as the executive director of the developing Dimension Mill collaborative work space inside the Trades District. The commission also approved a contract assigning Weddle Bros. to handle Trades District construction. Finally, the city officially put one of its parking lots next to the Trades District up for sale, with some conditions. The Trades District, the city of Bloomington’s certified technology park, is north and northwest of the Showers Building, which houses City Hall and other offices.
