Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a free program that tracks visitor data from your website. At Hanapin Marketing, we implement Google Analytics for each of our PPC and SEO clients so we can gain access to the source of traffic your site is receiving and how customers are using your site most frequently. To fully utilize Google Analytics for our clients, we complete each of the following stages:

  1. Implementation - We make sure that the correct code is placed on each and every page of your site to ensure proper tracking is in place. As part of the implementation process, we also utilize custom tracking for every form of advertising so that we can properly attribute the source of each visitor (i.e. Pay per click, email marketing, banner advertising, etc.). This will help determine where the traffic is coming from and can help qualify traffic that comes to your site. It will also give you information from other sources like emails and promotional offers so you can determine whether your other internet marketing strategies are working.
  2. Creation of Goal Funnels - One way to track leads or conversions through your site is to set up goal funnels with Google Analytics. If there is any action a visitor can take while on your site, (i.e. request an email newsletter, download a whitepaper, complete a lead form or make a purchase) we will set up a goal funnel for each action. This way we can tell how many people have converted on your website and whether they came from PPC, SEO, a referral site or simply typed your website into their browser. In addition to simply tracking conversions, goal funnels tell us at which point a visitor drops out of the action cycle. This kind of information will help us determine what changes need to be made to your website to increase the number of conversions!   3. Analyzing Data - The purpose of using Google Analytics is to understand where your website traffic is coming from and how your visitors navigate through your site.
