Podcasting 101 >> The four “P’s” of podcasting
In the first presentation in our three-part series on podcasting, we discussed what Rich Reardin refers to as the four “P’s” of podcasting: plan, produce, publish, promote. Rich explained podcasting, gave a short history of audio, and provided guests with a brief overview of each of the steps involved in producing a podcast, starting with creating a plan. Rich Reardin >> Media Communications Specialist, Hanapin Marketing
Rich is a Media Communications Specialist at Hanapin Marketing. He coordinates special projects creating media based content for Internet marketing-email newsletters, networking, Internetworking, public relations, audio and video podcasts, and interviews/articles for blogs. Rich has a "rich" 30 year experience in audio engineering, both in live sound reproduction, and recording studio environments- evolving with the times from analog to digital multi-media technologies. He has been a long time pioneer integrating analog techniques to digital web based technology for all aspects of music creation, recording, and digital multi-media production. Rich is a musician, songwriter, artist, cartoonist, web designer, graphic artist, Flash animator, and runs his own digital production facility. Rich comes to Hanapin after working in the radio industry, producing radio programs, as well as copywriting, commercial spot production, and radio show podcasting. Rich lives with his fiancè, Susan, and their exotic acrobatic scarlet begonia goldfish "Ahab."
