Email Marketing Intern

As Hanapin’s Email Marketing Intern, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the redesign of Hanapin’s eNewsletter. Your responsibilities will include:
- Research industry newsletters to identify trends and successes.
- Prepare Content.
- Work with our designers on layout.
- Research ways to manage subscriptions and send the newsletters.
- Create a strategic plan for the newsletter including ways to generate new subscribers.
- Other duties as assigned may include social media related tasks and other forms of online marketing.
Email Marketing is a growing trend and this internship will provide you with a solid experience, as you’ll leave Hanapin having managed a project from start to finish.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work consistent hours each week.
- Eagerly willing to tackle unfamiliar problems and research "best practice" solutions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and focus on the vital few instead of the trivial many
- Keen critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to "think on your feet"
- Experience in any web-related field (examples include, but aren't limited to, blogging, email marketing, social media, web analytics, and web development)
