Business Development Intern
Hanapin Marketing is an award-winning and fast-growing Internet marketing company, located in Bloomington, Indiana. We are looking for student interns to work on business planning, strategic planning, and marketing. As Hanapin’s Business Development Intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Working with Hanapin’s President and CEO, Pat East, on writing a business plan for a new website launch.
- Researching business planning, acquisitions, & buying websites.
- Identifying potential industries for acquisitions.
- Researching and identify potential web sites to target.
- Generating comprehensive plan for acquiring the site.
This internship will provide invaluable hands-on experience in Business Development, Marketing fields and Internet/eCommerce industries. Moreover, we’ll provide you with solid experience, as you’ll leave Hanapin having managed a project from start to finish.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work consistent hours each week.
- Eagerly willing to tackle unfamiliar problems and research "best practice" solutions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and focus on the vital few instead of the trivial many
- Keen critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to "think on your feet"
- Experience in any web-related field (examples include, but aren't limited to, blogging, email marketing, social media, web analytics, and web development)
