Rich Reardin, Media Communications Specialist
Rich coordinates, records, and edits all of Hanapin's audio podcasts. He has a "rich" 30 year experience in audio engineering, both in live sound reproduction, and recording studio environments -- evolving with the times from analog to digital multi-media technologies. He has been a long time pioneer integrating analog techniques to digital web based technology for all aspects of music creation, recording, and digital multi-media production. Rich is a composer, musician, artist, cartoonist, web designer, graphic artist, Flash animator, and runs his own digital production facility. Rich started working with Hanapin after working in the radio industry, producing award winning radio programs, as well as copy writing, commercial spot production, and radio show podcasting.
Erica Dorocke, Visual Narrative
Erica Dorocke picked up her first camera many years ago as a student, quickly falling in love with the sound of the shutter's click and the magic of processing a roll of emulsion. As a collegiate newspaper photographer and then a creative director, Erica has validated what she's always known in her heart... photography tells stories in ways that often surpass the power of words. The art of visual story telling is her passion. Erica is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals and the Professional Photographers Association.
Jim Krause, Tabletop Productions
Jim Krause, through his company Tabletop Productions, has been creating innovative video and multimedia projects for nearly 20 years.
He has produced a wide range of TV programming including documentaries, children's programs, instructional and informational videos, and segments for magazine and current affairs shows. In addition to producing, editing and videography, Jim's photography has been featured on book covers, CDs, magazines, newspapers, and posters.
Jim Krause has been a faculty member of Indiana University's Department of Telecommunications since 1999. He has led seminars, workshops, and teaches advanced production classes on topics of HD studio production, digital video cinematography, graphics and animation, DVD authoring, and field and post-production. Jim holds degrees in telecommunications and audio technology as well as a masters in instructional systems technology.
